Last month’s meeting was held on September 10th at the Mastic Fire Department and was attended by our chamber members as well as other members of the community.

Dealing with The Issues In Front of Us

Suffolk County Legislator Rudy Sunderman first installed new officers Lisa Hogan of LMH Certified Public Accountant, PC and Dexter Arthur of Shirley Veterinary Hospital. Then Legislator Sunderman discussed the issue of community beautification. He made it clear that they are taking a hard line and going to businesses and addressing that they keep their buildings looking good.

Legislator Sunderman also has addressed the MTA about cleaning up the graffiti and the mess in the parking lot of the Shirley-Mastic Railroad Station.

We also briefly touched on the Christmas Parade and the upcoming parade meeting.
