Important hearing to send testimony to the NYS Dept. of Transportation in the hopes of getting the MTA to construct an at-grade RR crossing at Hawthorne or Madison in Mastic. This crossing is imperative to the safety of our residents and visitors in the event of evacuations as well as a way to ease the day to day traffic jams we all deal with.
