Shed-the-Meds

Drop off expired or unwanted medication and it will be collected and safely disposed of by the Suffolk County 7th Precinct. Safe disposal keeps prescription drugs away from young children or others who might use them improperly.

Narcan Training Event

The opioid epidemic on Long Island is growing at an alarming rate. These are our family, friends and neighbors who are dying and who you can help save by learning how to recognize the signs and symptoms of opioid abuse, identify and prevent an overdose and administer the lifesaving antidote Narcan.

Hosted by:

  • Assemblyman Joe DeStefano
  • Legislator Rudy Sunderman
  • Suffolk County Sheriff’s Dept., Dr. Errol Toulon, Jr.
  • NARCAN Training Presented by Suffolk County Police 7th Precinct

Registration is encouraged but walk-ins are welcomed.

To reserve your seat, please call Assemblyman Joe DeStefano’s district office at 631-207-0073 or Legislator Rudy Sunderman’s district office at 631-852-1300
