Adopt Furry Friends from Rescues & Shelters

We will have rescues and shelters from all over Long Island, bringing their furry friends for ADOPTION! All donations go to the Angel Fund, which has funded various families that cannot afford emergency care, surgery, medical visits and rehabilitation for their pets.

Bring your family and friends to enjoy music, food, games, face painting, pumpkin painting and most of all an opportunity to add a loving furry friend to your family. Bring your pets for a bath and your family and friends for a BLAST! Mastic Fire Department will be there too! Come out to meet and take pictures with our community heroes!! You can also meet our favorite cartoon friends, Scooby-Doo and Garfield!

Drop off expired or unwanted medication and it will be collected and safely disposed of by the Suffolk County 7th Precinct. Safe disposal keeps prescription drugs away from young children or others who might use them improperly.

Narcan Training Event

The opioid epidemic on Long Island is growing at an alarming rate. These are our family, friends and neighbors who are dying and who you can help save by learning how to recognize the signs and symptoms of opioid abuse, identify and prevent an overdose and administer the lifesaving antidote Narcan.

Rain/Snow Date: December 8th

Parade starts at South Port Shopping Center and ends at Mastic Firehouse.

If you would like to participate in this year’s Christmas Parade, please respond ASAP. All participant registration forms must be received by November 22nd, 2019. Should you have any questions, feel free to contact Frank Montanez at or (631)404-9829. If using a vehicle in parade please include a copy of your insurance.

Kids, make sure you bring your letters to Santa. The US Post Office will be collecting letters during the parade!
